A Moment Like This?

Well, I've been wanting to talk to him for FOREVER, and I finally did. Well, sorta. It was about homework though. It was about our Physics Lab that none of us understood how to do. So here's how it started:
I started by asking him if he had finished the lab yet. He said no, he was still in need of data from his friend. Then wait a couple minutes, he asks me if he could borrow my data. So then I gave it to him and that was it. Well, maybe I asked him a couple questions here and there and that was it. But you know the feeling when you talk to the guy you like for like five minutes? It just seems like the longest five minutes ever?
here's the convo anyways. if you thought i'd give out his name, you're wrong. i won't reveal his name. :D

The stuff in the parentheses are random thoughts I had.

I Don't Really Understand It

I never really understand why guys give girls chocolate or flowers and wear suits. Is that supposed to make them look better? Honestly, I don't really like guys in suits. I think it makes them look weird, in some exceptions. But, generally, yes. I like guys who wear plaid better. I think that they look so adorable in them! Why is it that guys look so cute when they wear plaid, when girls look weird? I like wearing plaid, just that it makes me look tacky. And they also look cute when they're carrying something, like a jacket? I saw him do it once, so I know. But when girls do it, they look kinda clumsy. And guys with accents! Oh my gosh! Dreamy! But girls with accents, mehh. Cody Simpson!! <3

So yeah...

But when girls, especially Asian girls do something cute like the typical Asian peace sign, they look cute. But when guys do it, mehh. Even Asian guys, mehh.

Traditional vs. Online Schooling (Scholarship Contest)


     A teacher, a desk, and a chair: these are the components of a traditional learning environment. A webcam, a computer, and a keyboard: these are seen in the online course. Online and traditional schooling differ in many ways. However, traditional schooling is better for both students and teachers. The environment and interactions in traditional schooling allow students to focus more on the subject rather than other matters.
     Traditional schooling allows students to have a better environment when they are learning new subjects. The environment in traditional schooling mimics that of a real class setting; it also allows students to have better interactions with one another than online. For example, when doing a discussion, it is better hold a discussion in the classroom when the students can talk face to face about issues. However, online, students talk face to face in a webinar. In addition, when students talk face to face, they can build more connections with other people better than on an online chat. In addition, in a classroom, students can ask the teachers questions by raising their hand or staying after class; conversely, online, students have fewer opportunities to do that because they may not be as focused. Therefore, traditional schooling offers a better learning environment that an online course.
     Traditional schooling allows students to focus solely on the subject and not on other matters. Teachers can teach their lessons better and students can learn better because the environment is directed to the subject. However, in an online class, students get distracted more easily. Since they are talking via computer, they have the tendency to go online and divert their attentions to addicting sites, such as FaceBook. By doing so, students don’t motivate themselves as much as in a traditional setting. In the classroom, students are more likely to do their work because the teacher is watching them. For example, some teachers in my school collect cell phones in the beginning of class to lessen the inclination of their students to digress to do other things. With that, students can learn better in class than online because they have the opportunity to concentrate on that task without sidetracking their attention too much.
     Traditional schooling is better than online schooling because it students can have a better learning environment and focus better. It allows the teacher to teach better and the students to learn more and better.

WHY?!?

So I just found out that there’s a new girl in my Chinese class. A FOB-by new girl. That new girl just so happens to be that girl. You know who I’m talking about. His GF. If it weren’t for her, I’d still have a chance with him. But ever since she came along, it all went downhill. I feel like I’m Sharpay in HSM and he’s Troy and she’s Gabriella. :) The joys of Disney! Except that I’m not that beotchy about it. Now, I feel like I wanna go die in a hole every time I’m in Chinese class. Last year, it was Irene and Ken. This year it’s Mr. and Ms. FOB. Oh well, next year, it’s all gonna be gone cuz I’m off to college! I’ll just suck it up for a year then.

It Really Hurts


So, I found about that yesterday, and today felt like the longest day ever. I couldn’t even look at him in the class that we have together. And even worse, he put his arm around his new GF and was facing me. Why would someone do that? To make others jealous?? I hope I won’t be this sad later on. During lunch, he wasn’t in the cafeteria :) , but his GF was. GRR…
The truth really hurts. No, LOVE HURTS.
I hope I can get over it sometime.
I need to. I’m going to college next year, so that’s good. At least I won’t have to deal with him anymore. Unless he shows up at the same college two years later. That’d be awkward…

We Both Liked Each Other

I don't understand. Why does he like her? Is she that pretty? To me, no. All I say say is, she has a big mouth. She's cute, but not pretty. Maybe I am too. BUT WHY DOESN"T HE LIKE ME? That's what I see. I dunno if he's too blind to see that. Not a big mouth as in she talks a lot, but literally a BIG MOUTH. 
I know he liked me since his freshmen year. It all started in Chinese class. We were both in Chinese 3/4 Honors, and he just wouldn't stop staring at me. I was like, "What a creeper." I didn't really mind, because I didn't like him then. 
Fast forward to next year, my junior year and his sophomore year. I started to like him because I thought he was kinda cute. AND I KNOW HE LIKED ME. He would get all quiet around me. My Chinese teacher thinks I'm her TA instead of her student, so she makes me check binders and pass out homework. When it was his turn, I had to check his binder and he got all weird around me. Even worse, he was in my P.E. class, and during the swimming unit, he would always stare at me (I wore a two-piece because my one-piece was too small for me). And when I stood next to him for swimming drills, he would get all weird. And, I TA'd for my Chemistry teacher and it was a 3rd period Honors Physics class that I TA'd for. And guess what? He was in that class! Not that I cared, but since I sat in the back at the lab tables, he would always come by the table and walk past me and get as close to me as possible. It was really awkward. Then my senior year comes (woot! woot!) and it's all fun and games until Gabriella shows up. That's not her name, but it's an allusion to High School Musical.

Fact Within a Message #1

i already told you that i like making lanyards. what else Do i like to do? i like making friendship bracelets…er bracelets. It all started as a hobby when my then-friend gave me a friendship bracelet book on my tenth birthday party. i fell in love with making theSe friendship bracelets. i stared making one after the other and Now i have a whole bag of them! of course, not all of thEm are bracelets. most of them are like only a couple inches long. i need to work on measuring the right amount of string. cause the bracelet “shrinks” after you tie like a hundred different knots on it.
it’s this book i’m talking about.


so far, i can onlY make like 70% of the bracelets in this book. i know how to make the basic diagonal, chevron, double chain knot, broken ladder, and…that’s it.
here’s what one looks like.

this is the pattern that i really wanna make.


but the instructions are sooooo complicated.

Example: Hidden Fact Within the Message


i’m pretty sure you guys don’t know what i’m talking about about these hidden messages within the facts. i’m kinda doing what taylor swift did with her hidden messages within her song lyrics, if you know what i mean.
EXAMPLE
i love making lanyards. i think they’re so fun. i can make only two kinds: the square braid and the Round or swirly braid. i have a bunch of string that my friend gave me as A secret santa present, so i want to use it up cause i don’t really like the color. yeah, it’s kinda opaque, and when you mix two random colors together, they doN’t really look that good cause you can see through them. so i’m gonna buy new colors. i want the metallic colors. like the soliD colors which you can’t see through. my parents think it’s a waste of time trying to make lanyards, but i’d rather dO lanyards than hoMework!
