It Hurts

It Hurts
by Jenny Chan
As I see you walk your way
Towards me, you smile and say hey
But is it to me? No.
You’ve found a new girl
To ruin my world
Is she pretty, smart like me?
If you could only see
That it hurts inside my heart
What you do to her, it just tears me apart
It hurts when I see you holding hands with her
Hold me if you can, my dear
I wish that you’d just see
That deep inside of me
It hurts
Is she worth is, to tear me to bits?
I try to be happy, but I can’t
Because every time I see her, you’re hers
Would you rather she be me?
Do you feel the same way?
Or is it relaly her that you can see?
It hurts inside my heart
It’s what you do to her that tears me apart
It hurts when I see you holding hands with her
Hold me if you can, my dear
Why can’t you see
That deep inside of me
It hurts
Oh, it hurts so badly
Every day, every night, youre all that I can think about
When I see you with her, I just want to shout
Why me, why me? Why her and not me?
Everywhere I look, people holding hands
You’ll never ask me to the dance
Am I invisible to you?
Is she the only one that you see?
Don’t you see that it hurts inside of me?
When I see you with her, can’t you see
What you do to her, you never did to me
You make her laugh, you make her cry
You never did that to me, I could just die
Crazy in love, or is this a joke
If you knew, you would never do this to me
Just go. I never want to see you again. I never want to talk to you again. I hate you for doing this to me.
You love her, you tease her, you make her smile
Never seen you do those things in a while
I wished you could only see
How much it hurts and burns
Inside of me
